(White Wood Aster) Also known as Eurybia divaricata.
Shade-tolerant native aster with branching, wiry stems and loose sprays of small white daisies with dark centers in late summer and fall. The open habit and dark stems give a woodland, naturalistic look under trees and along paths. Prefers partial shade and average to dry, well-drained soils and is useful for lightly filling woodland borders.
