(Aromatic Aster) Also known as Symphyotrichum oblongifolium ‘October Skies’.
Compact aromatic aster with a bushy habit and soft sky-blue daisies in abundant clusters in mid to late autumn. The foliage is pleasantly fragrant when brushed and the plant is highly attractive to pollinators. Best in full sun and dry to medium, well-drained soils and especially effective massed in the front or middle of the border.
