A naturally occurring hybrid of two natives Dryopteris celsa (Log Fern) and Dryopteris ludoviciana (Southern Wood Fern). An excellent choice for native shade gardens for its hardiness and architectural interest. Fronds are a glossy dark green and stand upright or slightly arching reaching 4-5 feet.
